    My humble comment: If you or your friends have no faith in the deity and believe that the custom is a fake, then please dont go to the shrine. I personally am a big believer and have complete faith. With regards to the comments on molestation, I dont believe that is true too. I visit the temple with my family on occassions. I have not noticed/experienced/heard about such things. Bottomline: If you have made up your mind that the act is a fake, then no matter what others say or what I say , you will never be convinced. Remember, its the faith that works. Someone commented to ask the pathri to turn apple to mango. You are right, he wont... I agree, but at least please dont use abusive language in this forum and disturb the faith of others who believe.
